Eurospuma is a polyurethane foam and nonwoven producer. Given so, Eurospuma's policy focuses on meeting the needs and expectations of its customers and other stakeholders, by continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of its processes, as well as preserving the environment and the health and safety of all those who collaborate with the Organisation in its physical installations and the neighbouring populations, and guaranteeing the objective of zero major accidents involving hazardous substances.

To support the implementation of this Management Policy, concerning Quality, Environment and Major Accident Prevention, Eurospuma commits to undertakes the following activities:

  • Create an organisational structure with the adequate tools and facilities for the implementation of a Management System, which makes the Management Policy operational;
  • Evaluate the internal Management System systematically, including its processes and activities, and periodically define new objectives in order to improve its performance;
  • Ensure the qualification of its human resources through training and information so that they can adequately perform their tasks and contribute to the improvement of quality and the environment, as well as respond effectively in emergency situations;
  • Evaluate the risks to quality, safety and the environment, with special relevance to those that may be at the origin of possible serious accidents involving dangerous substances, in order to eliminate or minimise their negative impact
  • Manage the modifications to be carried out in the installations that may affect the control of the risk of accidents, with particular emphasis on the risk of major accidents involving dangerous substances;
  • Adopt,  where feasible, techniques and technologies that allow following the evolution of markets and customers' requirements, and to implement procedures that guarantee the execution of activities, the functioning of facilities and equipment in safe and environmentally friendly conditions;
  • Establish a commitment to environmental protection, working on pollution prevention and control through the integrated management of the waste it produces, the efficient use of energy and resources, in order to minimize the environmental impact of its activities and products;
  • Review the Management Policy at planned intervals with a view to continuous improvement and ensuring its suitability;
  • Meet the obligations of compliance with customer, regulatory, legal and other requirements applicable to Eurospuma.

The Management Policy is communicated, known and maintained at all levels of the organisation.
